Terms of sale

These terms apply when you buy from The Business Library through localhost:3000/s/businesslibrary. By placing an order you agree to them, so please read them together with our returns, delivery and privacy policies.

All prices are in ZAR and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout before you pay. We check our prices carefully; if an item is clearly priced wrongly, we'll contact you before sending it and you may cancel for a full refund.

Your order is an offer to buy. Before you pay, you can review your order, correct any mistakes and see the full price, including delivery. We confirm your order by email; the agreement is made when your payment is received. We keep a record of your order, which you can see on your order page.

You can pay by card or instant EFT through PayFast or EFT bank transfer. Card and instant payments are processed securely by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details. Orders paid by bank transfer are sent once the money reaches our account. If payment isn't received within 7 days, we may cancel the order.

All items are subject to availability. If something you ordered is out of stock, we'll tell you as soon as possible and refund you in full for that item, or offer an alternative if you prefer.

You may cancel and return items as set out in our returns policy. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, including the implied warranty of quality for goods, or the 7-day cooling-off period under section 44 of ECTA.

Please use our website lawfully. The content, photos and designs on it belong to us or our licensors, and you may not copy them for commercial use without our permission. We work to keep the website available and accurate but can't promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions.

We are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under South African law.

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on our website when you place your order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
